Being a teen brings along new and exciting experiences and some inevitable twists and turns along the way.  It can be helpful to have a safe place to call your own and a compassionate person to talk to.

Here are some of the things that may be worth talking about:

 Identity or self esteem issues

Relationship and peer difficulties

Sexual orientation

Gender roles or wonderings

Sexual health and consent

Abuse or trauma

Family and blended family concerns

Academic struggles and stress

Depression or grief

I visit with teens 13 years old and older.  Teens in this age group are in control of what I share with parents or caregivers and how these supports may be involved in therapy.
