intimacy & sexual health

Sexuality, Sex and Intimacy Matters!

Human beings are hardwired to love and be loved and enjoy pleasure! That can look different for every individual and couple. I am committed to working with those who are experiencing difficulties with sex, sexuality and intimacy for a variety of reasons.

Sexuality

We can discuss sexuality, the way we perceive ourselves as sexual beings, through questions about sexual orientation, gender and how we choose to express ourselves sexually and romantically.

Sex & Relationships

In order to enjoy your best sexual life, it might be important to explore everyday aspects of your relationship. It can be hard getting in the mood if you are struggling with communication, connection or coping with issues affecting your couplehood. Many couples don’t talk about the sex they are having (or not…). I can help facilitate and mediate the necessary conversations to enjoy sex and pleasure.

The relationship we have with ourselves can also get in the way of a satisfying sex life and pleasure. Self esteem, body perceptions, trauma or lack of knowledge about our bodies are common issues. Simply feeling relaxed enough to get in the mood can be difficult if someone feels hurt, sad or resentful.

Intimacy

Cultivating closeness with ourselves and perhaps a partner is important in everyday life. Intimacy is much more than just sex. Intrigued? This is something we can discuss.

Bottom line — opening a dialogue about what is getting in the way of your best sexual life is the first step toward the change you would like to see. I would be honored to facilitate those conversations.
